This is the first in a series of articles from the Fuze Product Team that will cover new features.
First up is a new option for our Fuze Business and Fuze Enterprise subscribers: Host Delegate. Host Delegate is designed for people who need others to start and/or run their scheduled meetings. Some great examples are project team leads, executives with administrators, employees in the same department, etc. The delegate feature is also handy for large events such as webinars. Host Delegates are essentially “co hosts” of your event. They can help manage chat, mute/unmute, accept attendees and perform all other “in meeting” functions that were previously only available for hosts. For step-by-step instructions, please see our Host Delegate Quick Start Guide.
Enterprise users will also benefit from a handy new option labeled, “Accept Company Members as Presenters”. This option does just what it says – if you have a company full of Fuze users, they can automatically enter as presenters. This is great for people who run open team meetings where it is desirable to give employees the ability to present without extra steps. Don’t worry, your Fuze guests from outside the company will join without presenter rights so you can keep control of your meeting.
In our next Product Team Blog, we’ll cover the new Fuze Plug-in for MS Outlook.
