We believe Fuze should work the way you do — flexibly across the devices, networks and applications you use to get work done. Based on customer requests, we’re complementing our existing Microsoft Outlook calendar integration with the ability to add Fuze to your Google Calendar meetings — with just one click.
With our Google Chrome Extension, any meetings that you schedule in Google Calendar will seamlessly appear in your Fuze meeting list, and also send details for joining the Fuze meeting to all invited guests. Simply select “Make it a Fuze meeting” and guests will have the option to launch Fuze straight from the GCal invite, or just enter the meeting number from the event details. Guests not yet Fuzers? No problem! The meeting invite link will add them via the web browser — or they can dial in by phone.
Here is how it works…
Step 1 – Download the Chrome Extension (beta) here
Step 2 – Create a meeting in Google Calendar and click the “Make it a Fuze Meeting” link (Note: You will be asked to enter your Fuze username and password. After the first time, we remember you).
We default new invitations to “Open Meeting” (most frequently used, allowing all participants to auto-enter your meeting and be made presenters) — but this is easily changed to “Private Meeting” or “Webinar” via the drop-down list.
When you send the invitation, meeting guests will receive the meeting number, a link to join the meeting and dial-in information for participation by phone. It’s that simple.
